Gardai to unveil new uniform

An Garda Siochana is to unveil its new uniform later today.

The uniform, which includes an operational jacket with removable fleece, will be introduced on a pilot basis in the Bridewell area of Dublin and in Tullamore, Co Offaly, before being put into use countrywide.
