Jury to retire in infant murder case

A jury in the trial of a father charged with murdering his infant son is expected to retire on Tuesday next to decide whether the accused is insane or guilty of murder.

Trial judge Mr Justice Carney reminded the jury today that there has been a previous trial of the issue.
