Gardaí in Limerick are investigating possible links between an early morning killing in Moyross, and a number of violent incidents over the weekend.

Gardaí in Limerick are investigating possible links between an early morning killing in Moyross, and a number of violent incidents over the weekend.

The body of a man, named locally as 23-year-old Robert Fitzgerald, was found with a number of gunshot wounds to the head.

The deceased is believed to have been killed as he walked home from a party.

It's not known if the killing is linked to the murder of Kieran Keane and an ongoing feud in the city.
