Gardai urge public to take care on roads
Thousands of motorists taking to the roads on their return home after the bank holiday weekend are being urged to take special care amid wet weather conditions.
Four people were killed in road accidents in Dublin and Wexford since the beginning of the weekend, despite the massive Garda clampdown known as 'Operation Taisteal'.
The four were aged from their late teens to mid-twenties.
Pat Costello from the National Safety Council says young motorists are the primary focus of traffic campaigns.
