Operation Taisteal swings into gear

Gardaí have begun a major crackdown on the country's road in an attempt to reduce road deaths over the bank holiday weekend.

Operation Taisteal, which swung into action from midnight last night will focus on speeding and the non-wearing of seat belts among other things.
