Gardaí release driver after Limerick accident

Gardaí in Limerick have released a man in his 20s who was arrested following a road accident near Bruff last night.

The man was arrested after the car he was driving crashed into another vehicle at Killballyowen, seriously injuring a 91-year-old woman.

The woman was a front-seat passenger in the second vehicle.

Gardaí are preparing a file for the Director of Public Prosecutions in connection with the crash.
