Gardai investigate hit-and-run

Gardai in Dublin are appealing for witnesses to a hit and run in the city this morning which has left a young woman in a critical condition in hospital.

The 21-year-old pedestrian was struck by a black Ford Mondeo at around 8.50am on Wellmount Road in Finglas.

She was taken to the James Connolly Memorial Hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
