Adams to discuss peace process with colleagues
Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams was today preparing to brief his party in the Irish Republic on the peace process as hopes of a breakthrough continued to fade.
As pessimism began to take root at Stormont, British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Taoiseach Bertie Ahern were expected to come under increasing pressure to “park” until autumn efforts to entice the IRA into abandoning paramilitarism forever.
