Four still in custody after large ecstasy seizure

Four men are still being held for questioning after drug seizures in Dublin yesterday.

Gardai stopped a car in the St Margarets area on the northside and seized a substantial quantity of ecstasy and arrested one man.

In a follow up search in the Ashbourne area a further three men were arrested and another substantial amount of ecstasy seized.

The men are being detained at Ashbourne, Finglas and Blanchardstown stations under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act 1996.

The drugs seized have an estimated street value of between €12m and €15m.
