Gardai investigate fire at timber merchants

Gardai are investigating the circumstances surrounding the outbreak of a fire at Brooke Thomas Timber Merchants on Wapping street in Dublin overnight.

The fire brigade were alerted to the scene shortly after the fire broke out at 1am this morning.

The extent of the damage is unknown and the scene is being preserved for technical examination.
