ISPCC seeks investigation into sex offender figures

The Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children has urged the Government to investigate why the Irish sex offenders register is growing at a rate of 20 a month.

The ISPCC said the figures highlight the need for proper vetting procedures for people working with children.
