The gardai allowed the IRA to plant a bomb which exploded in the Northern Ireland town of Strabane, Co Tyrone in the early 1990s, Morris Tribunal witness Sheenagh McMahon today claimed.

She also said another woman scheduled to give evidence to the inquiry had been an IRA informant for the gardai, and had been “allowed to do anything she wanted”.
