Gardaí seize €40,000 heroin haul

Gardaí in Ballyfermot, Co Dublin have seized heroin with a street value of €40,000 tonight.

A search took place in the Clifden Road area of Ballyfermot just before 7pm this evening.

One man in his early twenties is being detained at Ballyfermot Station.
