Newspaper to publish controversial education statistics

The Farmers Journal is to publish details of the number of pupils from every secondary school throughout Ireland who go on to further study in universities.

The newspaper obtained the figures under the Freedom of Information Act and is planning to publish a school-by-school analysis showing the percentages of students who enrolled in University degree courses last year.
