Sylvia O'Leary dies in London hospital

The fatally-ill woman at the centre of a recent compensation stand-off with the Government has died at Kings College Hospital in London.

Sylvia O'Leary contracted hepatitis C from contaminated blood products during a liver transplant operation and had agreed a compensation deal with the Department of Health.
