Motorists who are unable to produce a driving licence when requested by gardai will face fines of €800 from tomorrow.

Motorists who are unable to produce a driving licence when requested by gardai will face fines of €800 from tomorrow.

It will also be an offence to produce a licence at a garda station within 10 days of being stopped.
