ESRI forecasts rise in unemployment

The Economic and Social Research Institute has forecast a rise in the unemployment rate to 5.2% next year.

In its quarterly economic commentary, the ESRI said the rate is expected to rise beyond 5.5%, but will average out at around 5.2% by the end of the year.
