An 18-year-old man has sustained gunshot wounds to both legs in the North overnight.

An 18-year-old man has sustained gunshot wounds to both legs in the North overnight.

The shooting happened just after 8pm on the Carnhill Walk in Carrickfergus.

He is recovering in hospital. Police have not yet established a motive for the shooting.
