Emergency services to be restored at Monaghan hospital

The North Eastern health board says it intends restoring emergency services at Monaghan general hospital from January 1.

The services were suspended in July on the advice of the board's medical advisor and consultants at the hospital as there was only one anesthetist working at the time.
