Garda clerical abuse helpline gets 16 calls a day

The Garda helpline set up to deal with victims of clerical sex abuse has averaged 16 calls a day since its inception last Wednesday.

The news has been welcomed by groups representing those who were abused, and they have called for more people to come forward.
