Cocaine seized in raid

Gardai today seized five kilograms of cocaine valued at an estimated €1m.

It was discovered in Dublin’s Tallaght suburb during a raid on three separate premises.

Police say the haul is linked to a find of cannabis resin at the Slade Valley Equestrian Centre, Rathcoole, Co Dublin, last August.

The investigation has so far resulted in the seizure of more than 2,000 kilos of cannabis, firearms, cocaine and cash.

Three men and a woman arrested in today’s operation were being questioned at a Dublin police station.
