Victims of clerical child sex abuse are due to meet Justice Minister Michael McDowell this afternoon to discuss the possibility of a public inquiry into alleged clerical abuse in Dublin.

The victims want Mr McDowell to investigate the handling of abuse allegations in Dublin and have threatened to make formal complaints to the Gardai if such an inquiry is not forthcoming.
