Cold and flu sufferers spend average of two days in bed

Irish people spend an average of two days in bed each time they contract a cold or flu, according to the results of a survey published today.

Thirty two per cent of respondents said that their work practices are disrupted by these illnesses, while 29% said their social lives are disrupted.
