President Mary McAleese says she will not be commenting on how people should be voting in the upcoming Nice referendum.

President Mary McAleese says she will not be commenting on how people should be voting in the upcoming Nice referendum.

However, she hopes that all Irish citizens will turn out to cast their vote.

The President said that not everybody had the right to vote in the world and she hoped that we would use that right.

She would not be drawn about her thoughts on the outcome of the referendum.
