Girl dies in Kildare accident

A young girl has died following a fatal road accident in County Kildare.

Two cars were involved in the accident this morning at Monastervin just after 10am.

The drivers of the vehicles in the incident sustained only minor injuries.

Gardai have not yet released the name of the teenager.

Meanwhile, gardai are still not releasing the name of a man who was killed in a separate road accident in County Wicklow this morning.

The man died in a single vehicle crash at Kilbride in the early hours.
