Gardaí may face action after May Day riots

Members of the Garda Síochana may face action for incidents arising from this year's May Day riot in Dublin.

Reports today suggested a file may be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The announcement comes just days ahead of a second anti-globalisation protest in the Capital.

The protest is scheduled for Sunday - the same day as the All-Ireland Football Final in Croke Park.
