Emigrant group welcomes task force report

An organisation which works with Irish emigrants has welcomed a report recommending a five-fold increase in the amount of money the Government spends on expatriates.

Galway-based Irish Emigrant Publications described the emigration task force’s report as a “substantial shift in attitude”.
