Mayo mountain rescue team save woman

A woman has been rescued after falling near the summit of Croagh Patrick.

The woman in her fifties was brought to safety by the Mayo mountain rescue team.

Air corps in Finard camp then transported the woman to Castlebar general hospital.

It is believed that the lady is now recovering with a spinal injury after her fall on the Co Mayo mountain.
