Cannabis seizure in Dublin

Cannabis resin, with a street value of €20,000, was seized in a raid in Dublin overnight.

A house searched on Fortlawn Avenue in Blanchardstown, in the north east of the city, yielded the discovery.

A youth has been arrested and detained at Blanchardstown Garda station in connection with the incident.

He is being detained under Section Two of the Criminal Justice Act and may be held for up to seven days.
