FF MEP encourages expansion of EU

Fianna Fail’s Munster MEP, Brian Crowley, has called on the Irish people to take a leading role in the expansion of the European Union.

In the run up to the second referendum on the Nice Treaty, which allows for the expansion of the EU, Mr Crowley says that the advantages for Ireland would be considerable if the EU were to increase in size.
