Loughall wins best-kept town award

Loughall in Co Armagh has been named as Ireland’s best-kept town.

It was also declared winner in the best-kept village category, while the awards for best-kept small town and best-kept large town went to Westport in Co Mayo and Killarney in Co Kerry respectively.

A cheque for €3,200 was presented to each of the three winning towns, with Loughall receiving an additional €3,200 for the overall award.
