Blair demands end to paramilitary violence

British Prime Minister Tony Blair has demanded an end to all paramilitary activity in the North.

Announcing new borrowing powers for the North’s power-sharing Executive, Mr Blair said the move must be underpinned by an end to republican and loyalist violence.
