Labour attempts to introduce joyriding bill

The Labour Party is due to introduce a private members’ bill on joyriding in the Dáil today, despite the fact that the same legislation was rejected by TDs two years ago.

The Road Traffic (Joyriding) Bill proposes two new offences, joyriding and the purchase of old cars for use in a dangerous manner.
