A 56-year-old woman has died in a road accident in Co Kildare.

A 56-year-old woman has died in a road accident in Co Kildare.

The accident happened at Newhall on the Newbridge to Naas dual carriageway last night.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash. The dead woman's name has not yet been released.
