McDowell's report will not be published today
The Attorney General’s report into the awarding of contracts for the National Stadium Aquatic centre will not be published today.
Opposition parties had been demanding the full publication of the report on the centre in Abbotstown but a Government spokesperson has said there is no intention of making it public today.
The Cabinet is being briefed today on Michael McDowell's ten-day inquiry into the selection of a dormant company to operate the facility.
Labour leader Ruairi Quinn has accused the Taoiseach of trying to dodge questions on the fiasco by transferring Dail requests on the issue to the Tourism Minister, Jim McDaid.
Fine Gael's sports spokesman Charlie Flanagan has said he believes several questions need to be answered by Bertie Ahern.
