Lightning strike causes delays in postal service

Postal workers in several locations throughout Ireland mounted unofficial industrial action this morning in pursuit of a re-grading and pay-restructuring scheme.

The action, taken by members of the Communications Workers Union, delayed postal services for between one and two hours in some areas.
