Dept denies SF claim in Kerry arrest

A spokesman at the Department of Justice has tonight denied Sinn Fein’s claims of political interference following the arrest of the party’s director of elections in north Kerry.

Sinn Fein’s Martin Ferris said that he expects the man, who was arrested earlier today in connection with vigilante activities, will be released later tonight.
