Fermanagh council to discuss removal of union symbols

Fermanagh district council has voted to set up a sub-committee to discuss steps on removing British royal and military symbols from its council chamber.

The SDLP did not support a Sinn Féin motion to remove all symbols immediately but neither did it support unionist calls for no change at all.
