Gardai investigating forged euro notes

Gardai are this evening warning people to be vigilant as they investigate a number of cases of forged bank notes in Dublin City.

The forged, €50 notes differ in several ways from the authentic notes but because traders and consumers are still not familiar with the euro currency, gardai are concerned that the notes may be used.
