Search continuing for 3 family members missing off Co Down

The relatives of the three generations of the same family who went missing in the Irish Sea have joined in the search for them.

The searchers are now using sonar equipment to search the area off the coast of Co Down where it is feared that the fishing trawler may have been hit by a larger boat.

The area that is being focused on is now covered by an oil slick which could be all that remains of the fishing vessel that the three generations of the Greene family went out fishing for prawns on Thursday.

So far there has been no sign of the grandfather, father and eight-year-old boy who are missing and the official search was called off yesterday.
