Hospital staff suspended over claims of injuring patients

The North Eastern Health Board has launched an investigation into allegations of physical abuse of psychiatric patients at a hospital in Co Louth.

It is believed that two members of staff are under investigation at St Brigid’s hospital in Ardee, and that one has taken compulsory leave with pay.
