A murder investigation is underway this morning following a post mortem on the body of man found in a concealed grave in Dublin on Friday.

A murder investigation is underway this morning following a post mortem on the body of man found in a concealed grave in Dublin on Friday.

Detectives believe the body may be that of a 17-year-old who has been missing for three years.

Results of the examination showed the man, who has not yet been formally identified, died form a fractured skull by a blow to the head.

Dental records may have to be used to identify the body.

Gardai found the body near the canal in Clondalkin after they received fresh information from an anonymous source.
