Four dead following road accidents in Dublin and Wicklow

Three men, two of them believed to be from the same family, have died in a road crash.

The accident, involving a lorry and a car, happened last night between the villages of Aughrim and Woodenbridge, six miles from Arklow, Co Wicklow.

All of the dead were in the car and another man in the vehicle was seriously injured. All four were aged between 18 and 22 years.

The lorry driver was unhurt.

Meanwhile, a 19-year-old man died when the car he was travelling in overturned on the Lucan Road.

Three other people were also injured in this second accident.
