Gardai to crack down on van robberies

Gardai in Dublin have launched a new operation in an attempt to catch those responsible for a spate of robberies on security vans in the city.

Raiders have stolen an estimated £800,000 during 28 such robberies in the past year.

The gardai said Operation Discovery is designed to solve outstanding crimes and prevent future ones.
