Toddler killed in freak accident named

Gardai have named the toddler who died after being crushed by a pillar in west Dublin yesterday evening as Kasey Genockey, who was aged two years and 10 months.

The girl died when a car struck a pillar at the entrance to a house on Melrose Avenue in Clondalkin, causing it to fall on top of her.
