Taoiseach asked to bring up Sellafield issue at EU summit

Green Party MEP Patricia McKenna has said the issue of Sellafield should be top of the agenda when Bertie Ahern meets Tony Blair at the EU summit in Ghent today.

Ms McKenna has welcomed the Government’s decision to mount a legal challenge against Mr Blair’s decision to allow a MOX plant to operate at Sellafield.
