Ulster Unionist leader David Trimble is expected to hand in a letter of resignation by his three Northern Assembly ministers tomorrow.

Ulster Unionist leader David Trimble is expected to hand in a letter of resignation by his three Northern Assembly ministers tomorrow.

The resignations will then take effect from next weekend. The move comes after Sinn Fein rejected media reports that the IRA is on the verge of decommissioning some of its arms.
