Four non-nationals arrested in Dublin
Gardai in Dublin have arrested three Libyans and an Algerian as part of an ongoing investigation into the activities of international terrorist groups.
The four men, aged between 24 and 39, were arrested during raids on five premises in Tallaght, Ballinteer and Rathmines shortly after 8am.
Two of the men were taken to Kevin Street Station, while the other two were taken to Terenure.
Gardai said documents and £10,000 cash were also seized during today’s operation.
The four men were arrested under the Explosives Substances Act and are now being held under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
One man is a naturalised Irish citizen who has lived in Ireland for more than 20 years and is married with children.
