Cowen to hold talks with Powell

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Brian Cowen, will begin a week-long visit to the United States later today.

He will first travel to Washington where he will meet with his American counterpart, Colin Powell, in order to offer Ireland’s assistance in the international fight against terrorism.
