Ahern: Giveaway budget not likely

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern has again rejected suggestions that his Minister for Finance is preparing another giveaway budget before Christmas.

Mr Ahern rubbished the suggestions while speaking at a special meeting of the Fianna Fail parliamentary party in Co Clare today.
